Surely this was recorded to please the Japanese market. In this particular version it almost sounds like the theme to " Love Boat".

this is house music/acid jazz...in 79, sick..

both versions are awesome, but this one sounds more ahead of its time, production wise.

This was recorded with Herbie. I find it better as the bass isn't out of harmony, like it is on the original version. This version is also much more danceable too.
