Kite-powered powder turns ftw.

But yeah, super expensive. You can get a little trainer kite for a hundred bucks or so, then get stupid with it on a windy day. lol

No 1400€ only for ONE Flysurfer kite (for a perfekt kiterange you ned minimum 3 kites) and than u ned Harnes and maybe new lines and a board for snow (300€) and 2 Boards for water (1+1 board 1000++)

so it is much more :-(

no its not much mor for starting with snowkiting.
You don't need a new Snowboard and you can get older ones/used ones pretty cheap (under 50$ in ebay...
and you don't need 3 Kites for starting or do you buy three cars if you get your driving license? at the beginnning one is enough and if you see you stay at Kiteboarding/skiing then you can decide to buy smaller/bigger ones.
and for SNOWKITING (which is what we're talking about) you DON'T need a single board for water^^

I agree: in principle you can get started cheap, even with a used kite, which is what I did. You would want to test a few different kite makes & types, and then buy a kite.
Now the difference between cars and kites is, you can ride any size car on a road, but if you go out with a 12sqm kite at 10 or 30 knots, you will either be under- or overpowered. Wind strength is not as reliable to forcast as tar thickness... ;-)
PS: My 12sqm kite works MOST of the time...
