I absolutely *love* the Star Spangled Banner, but I think that this would be a better national anthem in terms of the sentiment.

I certainly disagree w/ many things we've done, but I am proud to be an American nonetheless.

Diversity, ingenuity, & individualism are what make this country great. Let's stop paralyzing our country & raise it back up again. Please, can't we all just respectfully disagree?

Actually lyrics should have been "my land is my land, and your land is my land too"... That's more american

I suppose I'm kinda biased. I served in the US Navy for 5 years, I was a Hospital Corpsman with the 1st Marine Division. I disagree with you about Afghanistan. But, hey, that's what's great about living in free countries, no one's gonna chop off our heads for it.
