I'll get into my pyjammas and go to bed when the international community stops imposing sanctions on one of the poorest countries in the world. Sanctions which deny food, jobs, freedom, travel, education and healthcare to millions of people. I would love to hear your solution - I hope you're right.

There are many examples of injustice in Myanmar. Protesters need to mount a moderate and sustained campaign to achieve political reform in Myanmar. Millions of Burmese are related to the authorities which themselves are burmese. Aung San Su Kyi can not achieve her aspirations by western style presidential campaigning. only by the normalization of trade and tourism with the global community can the process of reform begin. We must encourage travel to and investment in Myanmar.

You're an idiot. The SPDC murders just as many Burmese as they do Karen, Karenni, Wa and Shan.
They're gangsters, not statesmen. They could care less what the outside world thinks.

The policy of excessive censorship by SPDC indicates a need to hide the effects of the various wars and srtuggles in The union of Myanmar. Open trade will improve the chances of minorities like Karen to negotiate and secure their constitutional rights, since the 'outside world' will have vested interests in a secure and stable Union of Myanmar. Currently the ranks of the SPDC are drawn from uneducated men with no life no jobs, training or opportunities because of the murderous sanctions.

Its China that is supporting the Burmese Junta. They are a disgraceful evil government who supports arms to another Evil Junta. China I hope that God punishes your country someday. Not that you know who God is.
