The CD it comes from (the Stabat Mater CD) is truly, truly fantastic all around. It's one of my favorite CDs, ever.

when i am as sad as can be, i listen to this music over and over again, and then the pain transfers in a kind of volatile state...like perfume that softly vanishes in the air.
