I agree...I was first exposed to EC during that time. I hated him. It's taken me years to realize how much of a great bluesman EC is. That over produced crap from the 80s took him so far away from his true talents.

while listening to blues i get all relaxed and calm... and when i close my eyes its like im a whole other place... 5 stars...

I saw them together in the olf Forum in Los Angeles (1986 or 87???) and was dismayed at the Collins performance...Clapton was a ball of fire and Collins the cold bucket of water on him..

awfull concert!! I hated it!

nothing creepier than phil collins...his production ruined clapton's albums of that era.

Wrong. MK uses his strat signature in SOME SONGS. Most of the songs he uses his Les Paul.

I've got the Get Lucky dvd from 2009, the 1996 in London and some others as well.

He most uses his strat on sultans of swing and Going home.

Others such Heavy Fuel and walk of life and others in this style, he uses his tele.

imelda, brothers in arms, golden heart, je suiz desole and others like this kind he uses his LP.
