i just got 1 on ebay for around 15 bucks which its like the same 1 u have :) but whtever i have a quick question i just got a himalayan kitten thts why i got the comb but idk if i'm useing it to hard since i can c now a short hairs on her shoulders is it takin out the baby fur??? or do they even have tht??? n the new coat is growin in??? idk i'm lost here

I'm thinking the kitten is too young - I'd use a simple brush to get her used to be brushed every other day. You are most likely removing baby fur. Try using furminator when the cat is over 6 months.

till the cat is about 9-12 months, depends on how long hair she have, you don't need to use Furminator, just a normal soft brush .Use the Furminator when she starts shed bad for the first time, and then every 2-3 weeks, depends on how much fur she's loosing. Long hair breeds needs a bit more, for a short one every 3 weeks should be fine. If you bath the cat every now and then even better.
