Classic commercial for these shoes. I had a pair and they fell apart in three months, for what its worth.

I had two pairs back in '90, basketball and tennis ball-style, respectively, which had all my friends running out and getting their own. There were stories in the news of kids in different parts of the country getting robbed and killed for their shoes, mainly in the inner cities, which kind of put a damper on our materialism. Still, I liked the shoes a lot, but they sure as hell didn't last long.
