Chuck didn't like his vocals, which is why he disbanded Death and focused on Control Denied. But once he got diagnosed with the tumor he made The Sound of Perseverance. Hence the title, and he changed things up a whole lot.
@CombatShock666 I don't think his voice fucked up. I think he changed his vocal style intentionally. And I actually think it's better than his old style and fits the music more, especially the music in The Sound of Perseverance.
