I liked more the brutal vocals of Chuck till ''Human'' period.

but whatever this Man created, will stand the test of time...everything that he created is true and metal..

Chuck didn't like his vocals, which is why he disbanded Death and focused on Control Denied. But once he got diagnosed with the tumor he made The Sound of Perseverance. Hence the title, and he changed things up a whole lot.

maybe his voice fucked up...maybe he couldn´t keep the old style after so many years of extreme death metal singing...who knows..

@CombatShock666 I don't think his voice fucked up. I think he changed his vocal style intentionally. And I actually think it's better than his old style and fits the music more, especially the music in The Sound of Perseverance.

If hed sing according to the time of the song, people wouldent complain. But thats alot to ask him

Hes voice is usually great on all songs no matter how he sings it, but on this one, it seems too high

@CombatShock666 the question is why did he change his vocal style? is too different from earlier albums

@asadodemierda TOO different? Bands are supposed to change. Death changed a lot over time and did more for death metal than any band before or after.
