how do you learn that sort of right hand technique?what is his primary strumming finger ?and do you flick your fingers out to achieve that fast strumming?

Actually, those are just Martin soprano strings, the cheap ones. All the best to you and thanks for watching.

Really impressive! Roy Smeck--born in Reading, PA--was a son of George M. and Florence Smeck.
His dad was a laborer who had trouble making ends meet. As a child, LeRoy lived in a different house every year, as they were always being forced to move.

Sweet! Finally Vinnie comes out of hiding (well, kind of). I'd give my left...foot...to be able to strum like that. The spirit of Smeck lives on. Awesome sample here, thanks.
