Junk Food Ad Ban

The Australian Food and Grocery Council plans to establish a code which ensures its members only advertise healthy food in programs aimed at children under 12.

You know what they should ban.. Those TV ads aimed at people to buy phone ringtones, and those "sms game" adverts that make some people spend money on that crud.
I think these are more important to ban, than junk food stuff. Just introduce a thing called 'fruit' and tell your children that unicorns make it or something

What a load of nonsense. These companies should have as much right as everyone to advertise their products and they don't force children to eat their products. The responsibility should lie with the parents instead of creating a communist nanny state. The self righteous anti obesity brigade should pull their heads in and stop trying to dictate the terms of the free market.
