It's not a Warner Brothers cartoon where you know what's going to happen and can predict the shtick. it is an good story, well animated and very enjoyable if your attention span is able to last longer than 10 minutes; unlike modern movies where you have 30 seconds between car crashes, explosions and recurring Armageddon themes.
Well, maybe not scared, more like... disturbed. I was a very sensitive child, and didn't handle the whole kidnapping/betting/shooting thing too well. I love the movie now, though.
