I've asked about that too, but never got an answer. It seems that the answer would be no, because Rhinogobius occurs in hillstreams (or at least duospilus does). To my knowledge Stiphodon species do not. They might still be compatible, but my biggest doubt is that Stiphodon probably aren't subtropical gobies like Rhinogobius.

What kind of water do you keep the Stiphodon in?
Do you use salt or is it tap water?
