miller killed her with this movie. the only question is how much money the studio gave him under the table to betray her.

he wrote a character she despised. a collage of tabloid smears for her to bring to life with some taste and the truth a good actor has to give - an impossible task since it not only meant he never loved her, but that he sold her out.

mccarthy blacklisted him - couldn't work. the answer to his problem was use marilyn. would've lived if she'd dropped out of TM.

The cast itself was made up of misfits.This is a great film.If you want to see the essence of a most beautiful woman,Marilyn Monroe, This film captures it. 5 *****

"It's almost kind of an honor sitting next to you..."  wow, that's a beautiful line.

i've never seen this film but it looks like some of marilyn's best work.

what a great film. a great director! what a cast: clark, monty, eli and who could ever forget ms. monroe in this film!
