Ghost In the Shell 2 - Innocence (Japan Trailer)

So far, I've seen only the first serial, which is very different compared to Oshii's works. Much funnier and easy going style, full of interesting ideas about near possible cybernetic future. It's good but different.
Ghost in the Shell 2.0 - is a reproduced version of its original 1995 counterpart(wiki style). You can miss it, the original is better. Strange decision by Oshii. I guess new technology in animation is temptating.

It doesn't matter that much at all.
My advice is to watch first both Mamoru Oshii movies GitS (1995) and the following sequel GitS Innocence (2004). They are serious and dark toned, mostly thought provoking and full of philosophical references(especially Innocence) - creating incredible atmosphere.
GitS Stand Alone Complex, 2nd GIG and SAC movie are next in my order. They take place in the same universe, but the considered approach is different (as if Oshii's films never existed).

what order should i watch gits anyway?
there are so many 3 -5 movies, sac, sac 2nd gig, sac movie and so on.

That fird movie is the sequel of the series.

However, this film is the sequel of the very first Ghost in the Shell movie, and they're not connected to the series.

Not quite, all three movies take place after the series.
