George Best was my Hero when i was a kid, he wasn't an actor like a lot of so called footballers today. Money has fucked up football.

Look at Bobby Moore, Jackie Charlton's tackles, Franz Beckenbauer, Giacinto Facchetti, Ruud Krol... And imagine Cristiano Ronaldo against Bobby Moore. 100 goals?

The one thing I take away from this video is how terrible the defenders were back then. They fall for every little feint, they're small and not physical. If Cristiano Ronaldo or Lionel Messi had played back then they would have average 100 goals a year against that rubbish defending. Best wouldn't get away with half of his moves in the modern game. Defenders are a lot more physical and disciplined.

I disagree completely, you should see some of the tackling people put in back in the 60s it was horrific, the game was a lot tougher back then. All you have to do nowadays is touch someone and they fall over. For god given talent, Best was the greatest player to ever play for united IMO. Ronaldo would have just been kicked everywhere.

Funny to see how ignorant we can be... i always thought (for no apparent reason) that george best was a highly overrated player.... until watching this single video!
