Vincent, to compare the vocal harmonies (let alone general musical ability ) of the beatles to that of the beach boys, is like comparing, well, apples to slightly undersized not yet ripe maybe wormed apples.

I was leaving a store & had this blaring from my car .2 20-something girls walked beside me said "Wow. who's that."The Beatles", I said.Nothing.Was I talking in Chinese?"John Lennon?"Paul McCartney?" I said. They looked like I was talking Chinese. "Oh, the rock band game?" one asked. (I wanted to cry.)" No ,the band that inspired the game",I said."Oh"one said politely, grinned & walked on.I rolled up my window, head on wheel & thought 'these are the people who will be running the country?.HELP!

So what are you saying? Let's not change history Brian Wilson was inspired by the Beatles Rubber Soul so give them their due. As it is "The Word" is the start of the Beatles hippie/psychedelic phase.
