How Than Shwe family and his family should be punished?
Firstly, His grandsons should be killed by hanging them or cut their throat in front of their family.
Then Daw Kyaing Kyaing should be thrown from the top of Traders Hotels.
Then the rest of the family should be killed one by one by cutting their head.
Lastly, Than Shwe should be chopped every single part of him and let them feed to dogs in front of him. He must be watched dogs are eating his body and balls.
the big picture is: Burma is China's future oil pipe line and easy exit to the Indian Ocean. It is a strategically important country for China, India and US to some extend. China wants a stable and pro-China government to secure its oil supply, while US wants a pro-west government to put a foot print next to China, fearing the rise of the Asian giant. Freedom for Burmese ppl? NO, neither of them cares. It's all about national interest.Burma is becoming a battle ground of global powers.
So true... we will never get away from imperialism in the real world... but still... it's easy for Americans/the Western World to forget that we are really quite lucky... and that's all these ppl want, it's not quite total freedom... but as close as we have come
what does they effin burmese goverment want?!?!? if its money, we can buy our country Burma bck! just a thought. p.s is it true that all the people in the military are brainwashed??
The UN has been trying many times to help the people of Burma, but it cannot do so because everytime they try to send (example) humanitarian aid to Burma, China always vetoes it. (They can veto it because China is a member of the Security Council) Why? With all due respect to the Chinese people, because China is the no.1 sender of ammunition to the Burmese junta, which they use to make violence all over the country.
I don't know, but as long as they don't have their freedom, Burma will go on like that for decades. But with Aung San Suu Kyi's courage and the power of the Burmese People, I am sure that that will never happen.
