I love this song!! Nothing compares to 80's maiden.... I agree that powerslave is a very good album, but I think that the best ones are: seventh son of a seventh son, brave new world, iron maiden, the number of the beast and then powerslave =)... UP THE IRONS FROM CHILE

after powerslave?! WTF somehwere in time is a Master piece. & 7th son is also a good one.
IF at all they should have got him back in 99-04
era. I do agree the new stuff is not as exciting.

I dont understand why people say that maiden never would have made it big with paul staying. I mean, if paul actually concentrated on his performances, they couldve been huge with him. That line up had such a unique and catchy sound. Just because Paul couldnt pull off number of the beast or hallowed be thy name like bruce doesnt make him a bad singer.

most likely Not, Pauls performance? LOL!
get REAL. Bruce just fit the band better. they Recorded some Amazing stuff with Bruce..
think if kirk stayed with Exodus he would have never made it. If Brain johnson didnt join AC/DC he would have never made it, theres alot of speculating we could go on for a while

Yes, couldn't have said it any better. Everyone does give most the credit to bruce, maiden is badass with whichever singer. I love the raw sound that this album has it never gets old. All their albums are still kickass though.

killers is a good album
but Powerslave was just a complete collection of epic tales
and most of the songs on the powerslave were at least twice as long as the songs in their the killers album
