Here's one to give the kiddies nightmares, an animated segment where a little girl is being stalked by a giant anthropomorphic lollipop. How many licks does it take to get a restraining order?
There are several categories of inane comments that I see on my videos, and one of them is the "Why would Ernie do that, when..." type of comment, as if Muppets and cartoon characters all live in a tightly defined universe where everything makes sense. The one I see over and over again on this video is "stupid girl, why doesn't she just eat the lollipop"? I'm sure that's the first thing that would occur to anyone being chased by a giant piece of candy with an evil grin.
