As for me, I'm a lifer. 20+ or give my life in service to my country. Actually I've been in too many close calls and I don't see myself making it to 40 and I'm alright with that. After your first near death, it scares the shit outta you. After the next few, I think like I do now. You live, you die, it's over. The world is an evil place. I don't believe we change anything. Que sera, sera. And that's how I see it. Whatever will be, will be.
And I'm not sure where you're from, maybe Berkely or SanFran, but here in the South, people love the military both active, reserves, guard and vets. They are shown the utmost respect and lately that has begun to annoy me with alot of new GI's thinking we should be treated with special privileges but that's another topic altogether.
people like you come on here saying we over there killing innocents when you ain't over there with us. Then you have the audacity to come here and say you're protesting for me??!! Are you fucking serious??!! To me life, is life. You live, you die, it's over. I personally, don't really care about it. I'm not over there shooting at unarmed civilians. Has there been mistakes? Yes. In everything there will always be. Too bad that's all you people and the media like to focus on. Whatever man.
when fired upon, are you not ordered to kill everyone including innocents who may be shielding the attacker? or hiding him? is it not your directive to kill innocents that are protecting a possible attacker?
If you are not killing babies. how did they die? compartmentalization means you will never know how many babies have been killed by drones and missiles. you personally may not have ever fired at innocents or killed a child. but the people you work for have and will again
Negative. Don't know who told you that but that's not how we do it in the States. Maybe ya'll do in Canada but this is the US we're talking about.
Oh my God. The killing babies thing is a joke that we use to clown on you people. Once again, what is the end game to your argument? If we propose peace then the world becomes one big happy family? Don't be naive. This is the real world. No matter how much you push for world peace, it will never ever happen. It's human nature.
So unless you wanna kill everyone and leave Earth to the animals, then there is really no point. Though I do not condone senseless killings. I know my orders and the enemy that I fight and that's who we go after. I'm not just out there shooting people because they're there.
Seriously, where did you get it's my directive to kill innocents that are protecting a possible attacker? Those that panic and are poor shots are the ones who make these mistakes.
That's why I think recruiters shouldn't be in high schools because most of these kids aren't ready when they actually have to take a life. It's a whole other thing then playing Call of Duty or something. Those who are closer to being ready will seek out the recruiters.
And FYI, the whole "killing babies" thing is a joke for people like you who think that we're actually over there killing babies, thus the quotations. You ain't protesting for me. Don't give me that BS. I know my mission and what I am doing and that is to help the Afghan people. People don't ever talk about all the good we do. All the weapons caches we find. All the food that is handed out. The medical help we give. You never see none of that shit on the news and it pisses me the fuck off when
