The one they showed that was duped by a Nigerian I totally do not feel sorry for. he knew fully well that he was making fake money and yet he gave away $300,000.00 of his money. Not only is he equally a criminal but also needs to give his Doctorate back because must uneducated Americans would not even fall for that much less an educated one.

He also made comments like "president na my sister brother" which means the president is my sister's brother. That also does not make sense but people still get duped like this. Having said all that I feel sorry for the poor old lonely grandmas that fall these scams and the only one we actually saw on the ABC program was duped by a white canadian.

and "but you must give me money make I bring am" this is akin to someone telling you that they have something to sell to you and say things like "I own the statue of liberty" and "I own the USS cole" but you have to give me the money so that I can bring the statue of liberty to you. The person brings the money and we say he has been duped. He was actually making fun of the total absurdity of it.

I don't know why no one is pointing out that even though he is singing this song (which was made for a movie about 419 and how people get into it) understanding what it says in is crucial.
The transactions he even used as an example is enough to laugh about. For those foreigners that did not understand him when he said "National theatre na me get am" and "the refinary na me get"

Apaldemi you can not really say that my brother. I'm all for Nigeria and West Africa improving but look at us. We were doing much better in the 70s and early 80s. Nigeria was one of the richest countries in the world, each college graduate would receive a car. Look at Nigeria today. Some countries like China and Japan who used to be behind Nigeria are now ahead. Why? because we have mumus fake lamidos like Yar'adua in power. God have mercy on us.

Every country in this world has its problems and woes. In America you guys have problems with racism and prejudice. In Nigeria and many other parts of West Africa it's our leadership. A lot of what goes on in America is hidden behind closed doors. Americans try to fool people that their country is perfect, when it is far from it.
