I agree, though Chaplin was a comedy genius, Keaton seemed to capture the little boy lost persona so well. I never really watched any of his stuff beside The General before this, now I have to see more. Thanks so much for posting this gem!

A lot of Chaplin's comedy was spiteful and mean-spirited. Buster is always tender.

he is just a hundret thousand times better than charlie chaplin. He really made the movies, Charlie just expressed himself...

I was almost in tears at the scene where Buster is sitting on the sand, and then we see the little monkey is filming him. So sad, yet beautiful.
