A 50k custom? You can pick up an older R1 for around 3-4k with everything polished, that's the same price as a used dirt bike.

I sure hope he doesn't get right back on and do the same damn thing. He'd be alright if he maintained a little throttle on the lip (a lesson from the dirt world), then the bike would fly level and land in a controlled fashion.
