what does watching an american carol prove? it's a painfully unfunny and poorly made movie that sadly demonstrates the very same generalizing, blind bias and childish name-calling by the right that the film purports the left as possessing/doing/being. by dehumanizing those they disagree with, the creators only perpetuate the idea that the right is out of touch. if u think that blatantly spiteful and shoddy piece of cinema is literal proof of michael moore's idiocy, u've got a lot to learn. end.
The song and the movie make me want to cry. Either America needs die or go through the second American Revolution. I don't think either will happen America will just go on existing to brain-washed to actually contribute and to greedy and underhanded to be trusted.
I absolutely love this song. Also, I wonder if anyone was reminded of Mark Knopfler (singer + guitarist from Dire Straits) by Morello's way of singing?

At first I thought it was Bruce Springsteen and then it did remind me of Knopfler: both the voice at points and the volume swells.
Still love Tom though, even if he is a commie
Great song from a great movie
