we need more organizations like this. as a peruvian myself, I see that the poverty stricken areas like Qusqu are hardly given any attention. awareness is one of the best ways to bring about social change. it's gotta start somewhere.

I will say from experience that Casa de Milagros is a wonderful and enchanting place. I lived there with the children and Mama Kia for 6 weeks in the summer of 2005. The children are amazingly sweet, caring, and accepting. I will never forget the time I spent with them and I hope to return in the years to come.
