This is the best version of this song, better than the original recording and than Robbie's cover, of course.

Karl sings his song with honest inocents, and that is what makes this song work. This song will be performed by others in the future and maybe someone will do it better, but it hasn't happend yet.

Two words: Guy Chambers. Do your research people. Guy was in World Party and was the man behind Mr Williams, hence why all his best tracks have something party-esque in them.

When he signed the big deal the record company sacked GC and the next album as a dud as a result.

But there is a direct line from RW to KW.

However, as a fan since Private Revolution, the man should be applauded everywhere he walks

Yeah I really like talent that steals from the writer while he is at death's door. So classy. Robbie Williams is something that sticks to the bottom of your shoe.

Well at least the royalties from that RW song kept Karl going while he was out of action. But yeh, it 's really annoying when most people think RW wrote this classic.

I remember when Ehyptology came out, I think it was in Rolling Stone that I read that Karl Wallinger out did Paul McCartney when Paul had his own CD coming out the same week. No one could beat this song.

Yeah, it's crazy, I guess every generation says it, but our music, during our generation, is the best.
