Secondo me questa è stata la seconda più grande impresa di Marco..un grande ,sono passati 12 anni mi sembra ieri. Nessuno è più riuscito a primeggiare i quel modo in salita...e poi l'urlo liberatorio grazie Marco

its sad to me that cycling has become almost a gassip colum of dopers and so on...i feel they all do it and i feel its always been this way...they will not take armstrong down..he has so much behind him and generates so much money he is protected i think..pantanni was amazing to watch..he was a very small guy (the best climbers usual are) i loved to see him go up hills..i feel sorry that he died and now frank vandenbrouke is gone..

Back in this era doping was rife and is it prevelent now in cycling? of course it is but i believe the sport is cleaner...for instance watching the grand tours since say 2006 there is a noticeable difference in the climbing speeds of big mountain passes. I cannot concur with you though on pantani as his career success was achieved with the law of the needle

i agree with you..pantanni was obviously guilty and thrown out of the giro in 99...his hematocrit leval at the milan turin race in 1995 was 60%..i think they all do it at the top leval..if the top levals have been doped for years and years to even stay with guys like that you would have to have some medical assistance..i try to look at the riders and admire thier style on the bike..ive given up on who and who doesnt dope..i love cycling for what it is..ive loved it since i was 10 in 1983

there are top riders who can top 10 now clean compared to the 90s where it was impossible. Cadel Evans, Carlos Sastre and Bradley Wiggins amongst others

great pantani, a fine climber -- and ullrich superstrong with the second-best time on alpe d'huez ever. (24s faster than armstrong 2001)
ullrich made that tour magic; there were never so many people there before. :-)

Ferrari worked under Conconi, not the other way around. Where are you getting your information, wikipedia lol? You asked me to prove it so I did.

I was wrong, Conconi is older, Ferrari was his disciple
