okay then, the origonal was better than the sequals, i still say that this game had no main character, though

how is anyone in soulblade a "main character", but i do agree that soulblade is better than soulcaliber

I love the music also not all games are great cause of the graphics but this game really blew my mind same for soul calibur back in the 90's and 2000

i think that everything about this intro is awesome, i still say the graphics are amazing to my eyes, not too flashy or clunky, it hooks you into the game immidiateley and ties into the characters storylines, and the music, good god, the music, it is, i think, th most epic soundtrack i have heard in all my gaming life, i remember constantly resetting my console up to 12 times just to hear the music repeated again and again
also, i never had stutter with any of my games, just bad luck, i suppose

Wow, the graphics look really dated now. And that stutter right at the end is SO characteristic of the PS1 era. I remember even brand-new games back then with no scratches on them still stuttered sometimes (usually at the end of, or during, an FMV sequence. Final Fantasies were notorious for it.) While this was amazing for its time it's amusing to think now that even in-game graphics on Soul Calibur 4 are 10 times better than these graphics.

This was the best intro (Music & Graphics) at his first appear..........
