I think the main reason she was attracted to Clint Eastwood's character is that as a photographer he got to travel all over the world and see exciting places and she's been stuck on the farm for 20 years. Her husband should take her on vacation once in awhile. What's wrong with a trip to Disney World every few years. Is that too much to ask for? I think not.

I think her husband just doesn't know how to deal with his wife's emotions so that's why he turns on the radio. He was probably raised like most men that they're suppose to be strong and that showing emotion is weak. I deep down he does love his wife, although he might change his mind if he knew what she had been up to.

Finally, a level headed woman. You're a rare breed lmx370. The same would be for a man leaving a woman who is abusing him as well. Sadly, you will not find many that would agree with our sentiments on this lame ass movie. Dung like this just perpetuates the idea that it is ok to "do it if it feels good" This really makes me physically ill.

Wow that was a fast response. Thank you for thinking I'm a level headed woman. I agree with you that today's society is all about doing what feels good and screw everybody else. That is one of the reasons the divorce rate is so high. Nobody is willing to put in the hard work it takes to make a good marriage.

I was on youtube :-) You're right, it's infuriating how society is these days with instant gratification. People seem to view marriage as a revolving door process, the "keep your receipt" mentality. I really detest movies like that promote just such a thing. You're welcome as well :-) It's really refreshing to see a level headed woman in this day and age.
