Whew. It looks like Jackson was so dang fast off the mark that he didn't have to use feints ---

How I envy you! Sure wish I could have met Mr. Jackson, who was clearly a classy man as well as great martial artist --

One match I'd LOVE to have seen would have been Jackson vs. Keith Vitali in their respective primes. Two of the greatest lightweights.
Could Vitali's careful footwork, strategic sense and superb kicks have countered Jackson's blur-fast gap-closing and sheer aggressiveness? Alas, we'll never know:) --

Am pretty sure that Jackson's opponent here is Larry Carnahan, from Jhoon Rhee's school in Washington, D.C. Carnahan was a strong, spirited figher and excellent kicker. But Jackson -- here in his point-fighting prime -- simply overwhelmed him, as he did everyone else in this tournament.
I seem to recall, but am not sure, that Carnahan was the only one of Jackson's opponents that day in Dallas, in early 1974, to score on him ---

thanx, that helps put things in perspective. Indeed, Master Jackson was an overwhelmingly aggressive fighter. Thanx for the information.

Mr. Jackson was my idol when I was a junior fighter circa 1974. Never had the opportunity to speak with him, which I regret. God bless him and may he rest in peace --
