I have to sing a Halloween version of this song for my Child Development class lol

By the way, this video is amazing. I love the animation, and the fact that you sang it yourself! The harmonies are great.

that pirate recruiting tale has no factual basis to be accounted of, snopes made that up. No one really knows the meaning of his song since it poissibly goes back to the 1500's.

a lot of nursery rhymes date back to the 13th century and before that, even. Nursery rhymes were sometimes used to remember historical events. Ring Around the Rosy is a great example. to remember the Great Plague (Bubonic Plague). After finding out the meaning of the nursery rhyme it made me rethink my childhood when i would dance to this seemingly merry little song.
