I wasn't even thought of yet when this movie came out! O_o It looks freaky as hell though!

Best horror ever!!!...Remember watching it when it was a two parter back in 1980 or so...clasic!!!...Its up theyr with HAMMER HOUSE OF HORROR series,13 episodes of classic scary horror!!!BRILLIANT!!!!!

I remember when I first watched this film.

I was about 6 and my dad was like ''You'll love it''.........T_T I was scared
Now I laugh every time the vampire is like ''Look at me! Teacher look at me!''

Best film ever made

the book is great and scared the sht outa me, the film even more, and I like the 2004 remake tho the original was spookier. I prefer Rutger Hauer's Barlow and the original Sraker. Yes the 79 film gave me nightmares for weeks...I was about 12!

I was eight. Yeah, this one creeped me out, too. And I also like the 2004 version---very underrated.  Both are interesting takes on a classic tale.

TV used to actually be pretty good back in this period.

america doesn't give a fuck about halloween anymore because the media wants you to be afraid of everything, don't eat that candy because someone went through great elaborate detail to poison it! no kids knocked up at my house. i'm only 21, but i can see how the holiday has diminished greatly since i was a kid.

250 tv channels and this movie was not on any during Halloween week. Neither was Steven Kings "It", or the Howling, or the Exorcist p.1. Whats wrong with this country. Are they slowly killing the holiday. LoL, I saw 2 Christmas movies on Halloween day. WTF.
