Pepe's music is like a 50 years old woman with heavy makeup, very fake, not from his heart, I call it computer generated music. I met him in person 16 years ago, he was a cocky guy. I also met David Russle a year ago, he is a true musician and a down to earth gentleman. David Russle's music is truly from his heart. No wonder he is the #1 player in the world today.
your comment says more about you than Pepe. You have no idea of the depth of this man and his compassion. He has total control over the sound of the guitar. He plays it exactly as he feels it. And with much love for his father who wrote it, and probably taught it to him. You have no manners, nor respect for your elders. Why don't you post a video of your playing and let's see who has the more soul.
KUNZIE!! WHERE ARE YOU?? Kunzie is my guitar teacher but he wont give me his user name i know hes watching pepe stuff thoough. im trying to find him...
This is not, strictly speaking, flamenco. It's a stylised, classical guitar interpretation of a Guajira, a Cuban dance. Liten to emilio pujol's "Guajira" from about the same time as this was composed, by Pepe Romero's father, an equally accomplished classical guitaist and teacher.Nonetheless, a thing of beauty to behold. Am a tad pissed, so apologies for the crap syntax, illogical train of though etc.
the romeros, eliot fisk, andres segovia, christopher parkening... some of the greatest guitarists ever! i saw parkening in concert and he was amazing. although christopher is good, i think that the romeros and fisk are way better
