Ghosts, Jane Austen ~ Chawton House

I think it's awful that Jane is not resting in her grave, I don't really understand ghosts, what are they and why would they be walking around like that? Scary isn't it? I wouldn't know what to do if I saw her, I think I'd faint or something, don't get me wrong, I love Jane Austen

Actually, I think she was proposed by a young man when she was in her twenties. She accepted at first but then canceled the engagement because she realized that as a wife, she could not write.

I read that somewhere, I just can't remember now. But if its not true, someone please correct me. ^^

that's what I used to think. The romance and tranquility is obviously desirable, but take a moment to think about it. The dentist care for one was awful, along with with their hygiene. As well as the lack of medical care, people died quite young.

It's some amazing videos you've uploaded and I've had much joy watching them.

Hi There, Addison's disease can be caused by an autoimmune reaction to cancer. Poor lady she must have suffered an awful lot.

Thanks, I was just reading somewhere the other choice of diagnosis was Hogkin's Lymphoma. Sad that they are both such treatable diseases now. And you're right, the poor love must have gone through a very tough time.
