It's plenty to be proud of; they just called in and killed two of the most intelligent and hardest to hunt creatures in North America. Those who weren't raised hunting; or arent into hunting; will never understand it. The animal lovers and those who think that its not an accomplishment should not even try to understand it; because they never will. Coyote hunting, turkey hunting, deer hunting, Hunting period is a passion that runs deep in a hunter's veins.

I'm not saying that you should stop killing coyotes. I just can't understand why some people seem to think that it is a great achievement to shoot one of them. Would you be impressed if I told you that I went to the supermarket to buy some cheese today? See ... you may enjoy shooting coyotes or it may even be necessary to do so, but it is nothing to be proud of.

Shooting a moving target at a far enough distance is an achievement. finding the right stand up wind, with the sun at your back and plenty of concealment so you won't be noticed is an achievement. having the patience and making an effective call is an acievement and keeping their numbers small so they stay out of a kids backyard is an achievement. but I understand your point and respect it.
