im curious if the G9 will allow Flash Exposure Compensation on its built in flash - i dont want to use the external but I still want Flash Compensation for its built in flash.

you may have already found this out but I will answer anyway. Yes it does, when you are in flash mode the exposure compensation function changes to flash exposure compensation. Hope tis helps

my brother got this for me about the time that it was released in China and looking at it now, the price is cut in half... Brother got it for 10 000 (EEK) or more (EEK is the currency of Estonia)... it's a nice camera. The videos you can make look good and sound good. The built in mic worked better than i thought it would be :D Lot's of cameras and mp3 players have had the mic but alot of them haven't worked that well
