Also, community bonfires are a thing of the past, generally due to "health and safety reasons" ...

Shame, as it was a nice community tradition.

Probably should point out that children don't spend their penny for the guy money on fireworks any more, as this is now illegal. You need to be 18 to buy fireworks, or even be in possession of them in a public place.
