Cat Power - "Hit The Road Jack" - Live at Bonnaroo

Theres alot of people talking about how this is 'art' but as a music student studying a degree in composition, I have to disagree. To begin with its a cover version of a song and in the original there were two parts. Male and female, she is doing both which does not make sense. And as for her guitar playing, thats not very artistic either. it's just chords played following a standard 4:4 pattern. Which is literally what beginners learn when they first get a guitar. Vocally she isn't that bad.

it was 3 minutes at a concert maybe she was improvising. her version of "sea of love" had sparse guitar but a great voice. but if one was lookin for hit the road jack enough said in my opinion. have you just started listining to music or something. seriously "hit the road jack" are you two years old.
