Dickey was a drunk, missing shows thats why he got the boot. Gregg did'nt boot him Butch had more to do with it that anyone. Dickey is sounding great today with his own band, i think he is sober now. It shows. I saw him them in Austin Texas right before he got fired and he sounded awful. Dont het me wrong i love Dickey but at one point he was killing the Allmans with his drinking, hell he was missing shows from being drunk or in jail or both.
