Agalloch - ...And The Great Cold Death Of The Earth

Opeth is my fav but these guys go along with them!

Agalloch are great, Opeth was great and still are. But the issue I have with Opeth is they seem to recycle their ideas from previous lps to make new ones. The new Opeth is okay, but the blastbeats are totally uncool. Why because they have the drummer from Bloodbath and Witchery too I believe. But as far as Agalloch goes they are great. Seem them a couple times when I was in North America. Once in the Boston area and also in Toronto in 2005. Hail Agalloch....

I see these guys also make some black and doom metal, so my question is, what are their good and 'more heavy' songs?

Awesome stuff, just discovered them, this is the second song I've heard by them, and I already like this band.

Only discovered these guys today and they're awesome.

Why do you feel the need to compare Opeth and Agalloch? The only way they're similar is the fact that they fuse metal with acoustic stuff. Both bands are absolutely fantastic, so kindly shut the fuck up.

Totally true. Opeth are my favourite band for years...recently discovered Agalloch and love them...so like...both are awesome lets all stop fighting
