From A Hard Road, 1967. Peter Green's guitar playing is super!

Beautiful haunting tune.

Written & performed back when giants strode the earth.

I'm sick and tired of seeing these idiot moron comments that have nothing to do w/ the peice they are suposely commenting on! What the f**k does Syd Barret have to do w/ John Mayall or Peter Green? Nothing that's what! Dry up you boneheads.

Yeah Peter Green was such an egomaniac, he named his band after other people.

Syd Barret's replacement was even more phenomenal and truly made Floyd what it was and is. Green's tone you can't replace.

Meh....Floyd were better off before, WITH Syd....though I will admit he was their creative "muse" after leaving the band.

They wouldn't have existed without him in the first place, and certainly wouldn't have been as successful without him after he left.

Agree with ya about Green though! Fleetwood Mac without him was shite NAMED Fleedwood Mac only!

I tried LSD once back in the day......and once was enuff......I did not have a bad trip....but I figure anything that altered your perception so much....could not be good for you....that and I seen a friend have a bad trip.

Yes but he left because he went on an acid trip and was permanently damaged by the trip. He basically went insane, yes, sorta like Syd Barret. But also like Barret his replacement was at least as phenomenal.
