If he's a handsome frenchman, the French are not attractive.

As a westerner living in China, even I can tell the difference. His Chinese is actually not all that good. His choice of words sometimes are kind of weird, there is allot of uhh, ahh and staggering, and his pronunciation is not bad, but you can easily hear that he's not a native speaker.
There are allot of us who actually speaks better than him, the difference is that we don't make videos etc showing off. So don't think that 红老外、朱力安、Chris etc are some kind of elite.

Stop making out that language-learning is some kind of competition. His Chinese is just incredible. How could a person possibly top that? What kinds of things would you have to achieve or be able to do? I just can't take your comment seriously.

might be wrong again, but I think that video was about 3 years after he was in China, as (if i remember correctly) he was still in Shanghai by then.

were did he go after shanghai, is he famious in china now or some thing?
