LilDarlingxx, Jerry does have a bit of a Brit sound to her voice but she never really had a Texas accent. If you listen to her interviews from the mid 80s, she sounds pretty much like she does now, minus the slight British accent. She's very engaging, and subtly charming. She really is delightful.
