Glover and Lord started Deep Purple.....Mach 2 was my fave!! Fireball, some of Jon Lords earliest work with the band.....Still Great!Blackmore dancing with the fairies now just does not cut it for me, though still one of the best all time guitarists

You seem to have forgotten that Ian Paice was also an original member of Deep Purple, and is infact the only founding member still playing with Deep Purple.

yes for most of the people paice was a founding member but it is not true, don't get me wrong I consider paice as the best rock drummer ever, but before paice there was a certain Chris Curtis... and blackers and lord sent Chris after some cigarettes in order to give paice an  audition, which he took with both hands and Curtis found himself without a job ....
