SPLENDIDO, un modello per tutti i grandi tenori del '900.

The voice of Enrico Caruso is unparalled in the recorded history of tenors. He was lyrical, dramatic, spinto - even baritone. Not least: whatever he sang, he sang with a full heart. Nothing phony, no show, not being "interesting" or trying to impress, just singing to the fullest extent of his ability.

again Caruso wouldn't have stayed in Italy if some American students had seen he could break glasses- It makes me wonder in today's world with the trash that is I've got talent what Caruso would stand as ????

He did not stay in Italy , he went to America ! Unless you meant "he would have stayed in Italy if some American student hadn't seen him " etc..
I don't believe he'd break glasses , Women's voice MAY do that , but even that is probably a myth . A great tenor , anyway .

and without the computers and the mixing Caruso still stands out like a delineation of a mountain tip with the last remnant's of winter's snow. Thats the threshold
