hmmm... still need a clutch for full stop :D (unless electric, which thus you wouldn't really need a transmission :D) 2) how does it hold up to High RPMS?, (heating and such) 3) Strength issue, wouldn't the chain get pulled to the sides as to shear?. any corrections or answers to the above would be appreciated

no, its stick you push forward or pull backward (forward to shift up, and vice versa)

some models (like f1 cars) have clutches, but usually go kart sequentials have no clutch.
