I am pretty sure he was using the SG (technically a 1961 Les Paul, but an SG for all intents and purposes). He says he was using the 335, but i think he is mistaken.

Speaking of thin hollow-body Gibsons, I'm about 99% sure he was using a 335 when the Wheels Of Fire version of Crossroads was taped. That's still my all-time fave blues rock song.
