what a great composer i love this music danny elfman is the man!!

Favorite current composer. At the very least, in composing for movies... but probably just favorite overall...

I love that hallmark unsettling feeling he creates... Makes him a perfect composer for Tim Burton :P Just the way he avoids cadences sometimes, his almost always active use of dynamics, and the dissonances! mmmm... and gotta love the melodic runs... ok, I'm done... I should mop this up...

They should,ve gotten Danny to write the songs for Sweeney Todd... there would be less swearing :D

tim burton + johnny depp + danny elfman is a well established enterprise and i dare say also an instant success recipe

i like danny elfman as much as john williams. maybe even a little more.

There's something hauntingly beautiful about all of Elfman's music. :)
