I agree. I own the most outstanding DVD of it, too bad he shot it on Double Perf 16mm - because it would have looked outstanding in letterbox...

besides the truck of the whale coming to the town this is one of the best shots from the film. I mean I knew Janos would be there seeing it all but once it is revealed I forgot it and felt the sadness of the scene. A brilliant film.
